"The interior of a loft stacked with sacks, an angry countryman ferociously prods one with a pitchfork, while a handsome young woman tries to stop him, clutching his hair and arm, and attempting to trip him up. From the sack, inscribed 'Hemp Seed', project the terrified head and hands of the woman's lover; his queue indicates a military officer, along it scampers a tiny rat. Other sacks are 'Mustard Seed', 'Rape Seed', 'Turnip Seed'; a measure lies against them inscribed 'Measure for Measure'. The head and shoulders of an aged man, much amused, appear on a ladder projecting through a trap-door. A paper lies on the ground: 'I smell a Rat dead for a ducat'; others are nailed to the wall: 'Rats Pole Cats and all sorts of Vermin effectively destroyed'; and 'To be run for a Holland smock also jumping in Sacks - Grinning Match - Smoaking - '. Pug the Painter (the Idea Box of a Connoisseur) is a monkey seated on a table that is decorated with the carved face of a judge on the side. He paints a canvas supported on an easel and holds paint brushes and palette in his right hand. From a speech bubble he says: " A marvellous effect by G-d." At the left an owl is perched on a stack of books and holds a sheet of paper in his claw with the words "Catalogue of some capital pictures lately consigned from abroad" and from his mouth a speech bubble: "I think Mr. Pug you may keep down your sky a little more."

"The Queen, grossly caricatured, sits on a zebra which stands in a round band-box with a hinged and upturned lid inscribed 'a Present from Baro Bergami'. The zebra has the (profile) head of Wood, looking with greedy and imbecile satisfaction towards a sieve of food inscribed '[Wa]rden of St Catherine'. This is held out by two hands projecting from the left margin. The Queen, with a grin both calculating and insane, sits full-face, negligently holding reins attached to Wood's mouth, her left hand on her hip. She sits in a smaller (bottomless) band-box which surrounds her from hips to knees, the left leg, in frilled drawers, being thrust forward from beneath it. She wears a décolletée dress; on her head is an erection of feathers and flowers rising from a circlet inscribed 'Wood'. An owl (cf. British Museum satires no. 14199) flies by her head.
