"A young man in profile to the right (left), elegantly dressed, lounges beside a lady on a settee. He holds a coffee-cup. She sits before a round table on which is a coffee-pot, &c, on a tray. Her dress is of quasi-military cut and she wears a large feathered hat; they look towards each other. On the wall (left) is a framed picture of a camp scene.
