An open volume rests on a lectern beneath the lecturers prominent stomach, and the walls around the group are lined with shelves holding a collection of skulls and busts; the three shelves located behind them at left are labeled: Lawyers, thieves & murderers. - Poets, dramatists, actors. - Philosophers, statesmen & historians
