She is in back view, very stout, wearing ermine-trimmed robes with a laurel wreath in place of the usual crown. On each side of the bust is a larger alcove for whole length statues of 'ΔΕΜΟΣΘΕΝΗΣ' and 'M.T. CICERO'. These statues are stepping down from their niches, looking apprehensively at Fox. On its seat lies a scroll inscribed: 'Memorial Ambassador extraordinary Sheweth That your Memorialists are attached to your Majesty and have opposed the Armament, divided against the Minister [ ? leaving him in a] small Majority, rai[led] against the Balance [of] Power, chalked up [on] the Walls in capital [letters] No Russian War.' The Duke of Wellington stands before the King who sits on his throne, his right foot resting on a footstool. Dressed in uniform and standing very erect, Wellington holds out a large cross-hilted sword at an angle between himself and the King. From his plumed cocked hat, which he holds behind him, hangs a piece of paper with the words "Military commission to throw dust in John Bull's eyes." Projecting from his back pockets, are two papers labelled "Church patronage" and "Army patronage." A lady, Lady Conyngham, is seen peaking between the curtains behind the throne of the puzzled-looking King. The crown is on a table behind Wellington

"The King (left), plainly dressed, sits on a chair on a dais, a pillar and curtain indicating the throne. He angrily addresses a band of Ministers (and others) who are encircled by a ribbon inscribed The Bond of Union; the end of this is held by the Pope (right). Raising a document inscribed Coronation Oath he exclaims: Is that your only Bond of Union? Is that the flimsey Thread that Ties this hetrogenous [sic] Mass. What? have ye hid your base designs beneath the Cloak of Secrecy? Think ye to Catch your Sovereign off his guard? to tempt him to forget his Solemn Oath? and by one desperate Stroke, destroy the Church & Constitution too?!! begone, and instantly give place to honest Men. Lady Conyngham peeps from behind his chair, saying, I do exceedingly Fear & Tremble. The nine Ministers, closely tied together, advance menacingly, each raising a cross in the right hand. The Pope, triumphant and sinister, also holding a cross, says: Strike My Son's Now or never!! The four nearest the picture plane are (left to right) Canning, Brougham, Burdett, and Lansdowne with Scarlett just behind him; the other four are partly hidden and poorly characterized. Lansdowne is copied from satires of 1806-7, when he was Chancellor of the Exchequer: he is dwarfish, and held up by the 'Bond', his legs dangling. Three say respectively: No bolting when you come to the Scratch; Nine to one will certainly be more--than a Match for him; Stick together. A writing sheet engraved with vignettes and the large interior space left blank. At the top is a scene with a throne on a platform in the center at the top of a pie-shaped set of stairs with angels standing along the edges on both the right and the left. Behind the line of angels are crowds of people, with the group from the left seemingly walking towards the right. Along the base of the design is a banner held at either end by cherubs blowing horns, inscribed are the words "Come unto me; ye blessed!" Many of the figures in the crowds wear crowns, one holds a harp and another a censer on a chain. The back of the throne is decorated with three connected triangles, points down and with a crown above the oval head rest, rays of light emanating from all sides. On the left margin are vignettes entitled "The birth" and "The wedding" and on the right "The christening" and "The burial". At the foot of the plate is an image of a dragon-like beast from whose mouth streams a banner bearing the engraved text: “There shall be weeping, wailing and gnashing of teeth". A large oval shape on the dragon's body is left blank
