Abstract: A large group of men sit in chairs around a table in panelled room, among them Hudibras. In the center of the table is a piece of paper titled "The League & Covenant" along with quill pens and an ink well. Their hats hang on pegs on the walls behind them. Several of the men look to the right with startled expressions as a messenger rushes in through a door to the right, accompanied by a black man in a cloak and turban

Sheet trimmed within plate mark; "carried on in the next print" mostly erased from this impression.
