Sketches and captions depict and refer to objects, friends, school, and social activities. Activities include meetings with others, meals, church, drawing, dancing, shopping for gifts, the gym, the circus, Yale University events, and specific games, such as charades, chess, cards, parchisi, hide-and-seek, and paper dolls. Includes loose material and material pasted in: one autograph letter, signed, addressed to Hastings at a New Haven address, additional sketches, one clipping, printed ephemera, and manuscript notes.
