Binding: armorial brown leather binding over pasteboard, with coat of arms of Edward VI gold-tooled on both front and back covers.
Signed (f. 8v): Walt. Cromer.
Provenance
Restored by J Macdonald Co. Norwalk Conn (note on upper pastedown). Dealer's description pasted inside back cover. Bookplate of Duke George Granville William Sutherland-Leveson-Gower, 1828-1892 ("Gower Earl Gower") and of Dr. Harvey Cushing pasted inside front cover. Purchased by John Fulton on behalf of the Yale Neurosurgical Society from Hodgson sale in May 1932 thru Bernard Quaritch Ltd. Presented to Dr. Havery Cushing on his retirement. His bequest to the Yale Medical School Library.
