In three parts. Part 1 is a translation of Hennepin's "Nouvelle découverte d'un très grand pays situé dans l'Amérique" and part 3 is a translation of his "Nouveau voyage d'un pais plus grand que l'Europe".
Part 2 (p. [301]-355) has divisional title, "An account of several new discoveries in North America", and contains extracts from the works of La Salle, Joliet, and Marquette. It is sometimes bound following part 3, since the catchword on the last page of part 3, "An account of", appears to call for positioning it there.
