Abstract: Eight drawings mounted in a later album, seven of them rendered in red chalk. Drawings depict Native American hunters smoking pipes, carrying a canoe, carrying pelts, and a woman carrying a papoose; coureurs du bois holding guns; scenes from beaver hunting: pulling down dams, breaking apart beaver lodges, breaking ice and shooting beaver with bows and arrows; as well as a drawing of an otter and a watercolor of a beaver
Description: Spine title: Castors.
Artist unidentified. The third drawing carries the name Legras in manuscript in the top left corner.
