In Latin.
Script: written in late Caroline minuscule.
Decoration: 1-line initials in brown rustic capitals; the initials that begin new chapters are dotted with orange; punctuated with the punctus; hyphenation is in the same ink as the text; the marginal chapter headings are written by a contemporary hand in brown minuscule and are encircled in orange, with an orange line connecting each circle; the same orange is used to adorn the chapter initials and to mark roman numerals in the text. - Provenance
- The fragment was used as the wrapper for another volume; some of the books in the Lambach library were bound in this method, suggesting the possibility that this leaf also comes from Lambach.
