Album of photographs and loose photographic prints created by Charles B. Talbot that document locations in Washington and Alaska, 1886-1894. His widow, Caroline A. Talbot compiled the album as a Christmas gift for his brother and sister in 1900
Photographs in the album of Washington include Mount Rainier (called Mount Tacoma in the album) and Carbon Glacier on its northern slope, as well as the Northern Pacific Railway Headquarters Building in Tacoma and the northern terminus of the Northern Pacific Railway in Kalama. There is also an image of Coffin Rock, Oregon, in the Columbia River from the shore near Kalama. Photographs in the album of Alaska include views of the Lynn Canal inlet, Skagway, Saint Mary's, and Wrangell, as well as a portrait of a Native American man and boy
Loose photographic prints of Washington include views of Mount Rainier, Olympic Mountains, Tacoma, and the Northern Pacific Railway Headquarters Building, There are also overviews of a scull rowing race in Commencement Bay of Puget Sound rowed by William Joseph O'Connor, George W. Lee, Henry C. Peterson, and Albert S. Hamm on May 18, 1889. Other loose prints include a view of Sitka, Alaska, and a copy photograph of a drawing of Mount Hood, Oregon

Charles B. Talbot (circa 1841-August 13, 1900) was a civil engineer and architect with the Northern Pacific Railroad Company, as well as an amateur photographer. He designed the Northern Pacific Railway Headquarters Building in Tacoma, Washington, 1887-1888. Talbot also discovered Bull Run Springs, which is the source of the Bull Run River in Oregon.
