Manuscript fragment on parchment (two adjacent folios) of Peter Lombard (ca. 1095-1160), Libri sententiarum, IV.
- Description

Script: Copied by a single hand in a small Northern Gothica Textualis Libraria.
Decoration: Red headings and heightening of majuscules. Alternately red and blue 2-line flourished initials half inset, with guide-letters, and penwork in contrasting color. Running numbers of the Books in red and blue; numbering of the Distinctiones in the same color in the outer column.
Dinding: None. The two leaves were used as covers for the quinto and tenor partbooks of Rodiano Barera, Il primo libro de madrigali a cinque voci (Venice, Antonio Gardano, 1596).

- Acquired from Hugh Mellor and M. Balley Acquired with funds from the Friends of Music at Yale. Transferred to the Rare book Room from the Library of the School of Music, 20 February 1958. Reclassed in 1980 from Beinecke MS 3, no. 6.
