A volume of etchings by three daughters of art collector John Ingram (1767-1841) of Staindrop Hall in County Durham: Elizabeth Christian Ingram (born 1795), Caroline Ingram (1800-1819), and Augusta Isabella Ingram (born 1802). The family lived in Venice and took instruction from Venetian etcher Francesco Novelli. Most of the prints bear the monogram of one of the Ingram sisters and are dated 1816 -1821. The works include images after Rembrandt, Ostade, Pietro Novelli, and other artists, Continental views, views of Hartlepool and Newcastle, and a vignette after Bewick. Collection of mostly English engraved trade cards for a wide variety of London businesses, especially those advertising goods and services relating to household furnishings, men and women's attire and accessories such as gloves, boots, and swords, mercers and haberdashery being the most numerous. In addition there are cards for: cabinet makers, engravers and jewelers, clockmakers, tea shops, grocers, wine suppliers, exotic oil suppliers, apothecaries, hair styling, an auctioneer, and an undertaker. Also included are several invitations to private events such as a birthday party and a lodge meeting. Also included is one advertisement for an Edinburgh pewter shop and one for a French supplier of maps

A collection of 256 mostly British satirical prints and broadsides commenting on the scandalous relations between Queen Caroline and King George IV including those commenting on the "Queen Caroline Affair" of 1820, purportedly assembled by William Gladstone and mounted in chronological order in two albums. Many of the prints and broadsides are annotated apparently in W.E. Gladstone's hand, with the exact month and date of publication and the identities of the person being satirized. Later pencil annotations have been added to mounting sheet along with extracts from the description of the print from the Catalogue of prints and drawings in the British Museum, these later annotations probably added by the 20th-century owner of the volumes, Ernest R.
