(i.e. Sir William Roper, great-grandson of Sir Thomas More), followed by a manuscript genealogy of the descendants of Sir Thomas More through his daughter Margaret; according to it, Sir William Roper was born in 1557 and died in 1628. With the blank leaf [paragraph]10. Bound in old leather over wooden boards, with brass clasps, bosses, and strips. On the front cover is a strip of horn, framed in brass and lettered "William Rooper knyght." Bookplate of Aldenham House, Herts.
