- Four ALS (August 21 and November 22, 1903, May 24, 1904, and June 16, 1905), to "My dear Mr. [Joseph Henry] Gest," director of the Cincinnati Art Museum, and one ALS with envelope postmarked March 8, 1905, addressed to his friend and former painting teacher Frank Duveneck, Art Museum, Eden Park, Cincinnati, Ohio. Sharp's letters to Gest describe his life in Montana, the progress of his work, orders for painting supplies, and news of Mrs. Sharp and mutual friends. The 1904 letter, written from San Francisco, relates that he has delivered his work to Mrs. Hearst. In his letter to Frank Duveneck, Sharp asks advice on painting technique, describes activities of the local Indians, and includes a pencil sketch of a Crow woman. With the exception of the 1904 letter, the letters were written from Montana on Crow Agency Hotel and J. D. Sherburne, U.S. Licensed Trader, Browning, Montana, letterheads.

- American artist, who, after being commissioned by the California philanthropist Mrs. Phoebe Hearst to paint Plains Indians and scenes of Indian life, lived with his wife Addie Byram Sharp from 1902 to 1910 at Crow Agency, Montana, and travelled and painted throughout the West. and Purchased from Midland Rare Books on the William Robertson Coe Fund, 1962.

- Collection consists of 34 pieces of correspondence, including autograph letters, postcards, and holiday cards, from O'Keeffe to Susan and Alexander Girard, and their daughter Sansi Needham Girard Agnew. The Girards were residents of Santa Fe, New Mexico, and most letters discuss personal topics, including plans for visits to each others' homes. Also included are invitations to openings at museums exhibiting O'Keeffe's work which were sent on her behalf. The collection holds 23 snapshot photographs of O'Keeffe, the Girards, and others at events, gatherings, and on travels, and plus some scenery in New Mexico, and a portrait of O'Keeffe in an 8 by 10 inch format bearing a studio stamp of Charles Eames; the photographs date from 1963 to 1973. and With the collection is one letter from Robert Jaffie to Thomas Needham, dated March 10, 1959, discussing a recent visit with O'Keeffe.

- Nathaniel Jocelyn's autograph manuscript description of the mahogany palette used by the American portrait painter Gilbert Stuart based on Jocelyn's visit with Stuart in August 1823. The description includes a list of the colors used by Stuart, notes on Stuart's techniques for portraying hair and skin tones, and diagrams for comparing the palettes of Stuart and the painter Washington Allston; Jocelyn also records Allston's comments on Stuart's palette.

- Two watercolor drawings made in and around the Central Utah Relocation Center near Delta, Utah, by Japanese prisoners of war. The first is an untitled landscape view of the Topaz Valley, the site of the center; it measures 28 x 39 cm and is signed at the lower left corner "S. Mikami." The second is a scene within the camp and features residential cabins, pathways, and unidentified figures at either sunrise or sunset. It is signed at the lower right with Japanese characters and a red chop mark, measures 27 x 38 cm, and is inscribed in pencil on the reverse in an unidentified hand: “Delta, Utah / Japanese / Relocation / Camp / 19.”
