A treatise on Islamic law, according to the Ḥanafī school, by Ḥasan ibn ʻAmmār al-Shurunbulālī (1585 or 1586-1659), a prolific Egyptian Ḥanafī Islamic law scholar, a graduate of al-Azʹhar, being a commentary on his own work "Nūr al-īḍāḥ". Copied on a Wednesday in the year 1114 Hijrī [1703 or 1704] by Ḥasan Ḥubayshī al-Ḥanafī ibn al-Ḥājj Hilālī al-shahīr bi-Ibn al-Ḥijāzī, in Dimyāṭ (Damietta, Egypt).

Commentary by Zakarīyā ibn Muḥammad al-Anṣārī (approximately 1423-approximately 1520), a famous Egyptian Shāfiʻī Islāmic law scholar, Shaykh al-Islām and Qāḍī al-Quḍāh during the rule of Qāʼit Bāy (Sultan of Egypt and Syria, d. 1496), on his own compendium of Islamic law according to the Shāfi'ī school, entitled "Taḥrīr Tanqīḥ al-lubāb", an epitome of "Tanqīḥ al-lubāb" of Aḥmad ibn ʻAbd al-Raḥīm ibn al-ʻIrāqī (1361-1423), itself an abridgment of a larger work by Aḥmad ibn Muḥammad ibn al-Maḥāmilī (died 1024), entitled al-Lubāb fī al-fiqh al-Shāfiʻī.
