Westminster schoolboys in cap and gown terrify a poor woman and a watchman by turnip-headed ghosts, and by one of their number on stilts who is masked and smoking a flaming pipe. Another, seated on a lamp-bracket, discharges a squirt at the frightened woman who falls, clutching at the fleeing watchman. See British Museum catalogue
