Horizontal print has four vignettes of camp life during the Gold Rush. At upper left: "A Sunday's Amusements" (two men doing laundry). At upper right: "A Daily Pleasure" (two men cooking a meal). At lower left: "Occupation for Rainy Days" (two men mending their clothes and boots). At lower right: "A Pleasant Surprise" (two men discover a Grizzly Bear in their tent, warming by their fire).
