Sheet trimmed to plate mark on top edge.
With contemporary notes in pencil indicating changes to be made to the plate; these changes include a softening of lines on parts of the tower, a clearing out of some of the windows of the tower, and an overall reduction in plate size. A desired removal of dark markings and evening out of the gravel walkway in the foreground is indicated by the addition of white paint(?).
