- In an outdoor setting, George III examines through his quizzing glass a giant boulder with three bust portraits on it, each described below. On the left, in profile, is the Duke of Portland, with vague expression, "Supposed to be the head of a Patrician ... that never contained much brain ..." In the middle, full face, with angrily drawn brows, is Fox, "... turbulent and factious Tribune of great abilities which he exerted occasionally for and against Government ..." To the right, in profile, is a complacent looking Lord North, "... a Tribune of Patrician ancestors ..." who "... had the Art to impose himself upon the People for an honest disinterested man ..."

- The Count sits in a large chair, a basket of frogs on the floor between his wide-spread legs; he wears a powdered wig under his hat, his uniform, a gold cross on a black ribbon around his neck, high black boots with spurs, and sword at his waist. He is wide-eyed and stiff -- marionette-like -- as he eats a frog. A man servant with a worried expression on his face and wearing a red liberty cap approaches him from the left, holding a tray labeled "Fricasee of Frogs". From the right, a woman, her face mostly obscured by her large head scarf, carries a bowl labeled “Soup meager”.

- On a wooden platform a crowned goose, representing George III, lays its head on the executioner's block. To the left standing over the goose is a fox with a raised axe. On the far left Lord North and on the right a young man (the Prince of Wales?) dance with joy at each end of the scaffold. A satire on the Prince's dislike of the King and his association with Charles Fox

- A caricature of William V, Stadtholder of the United Provinces. He is dressed as a typical caricatured Dutchman, but wearing lace and a star of office. He holds his sword by the blade over his shoulder, and scratches his head with an inane expression. A satire on William's habitual indecision

- George III on horseback charges into the scene from the left, his enemies fleeing before him and his pack of dogs each named after a British admiral. Spain in slashed doublet is farthest right, attacked by a dog whose collar is inscribed Elliot, while France in a polka dot suit, bag wig and crown leaps over a fence with a dog (Rodney?) at his heels. A Dutchman has fallen onto his back and three other dogs (labelled Pigot, How[e], and Park[er] are about to overtake him

- In an outdoor setting, a young man in court dress, perhaps the Prince of Wales, is presented with a large sheet signed "Tax on receipts" by Lord Cavendish who turns away from a group of distressed tradesmen protesting the new tax. They represent, from right to left, a shoemaker, an alderman, a butcher, and, in the person of 'Sir' Jeffery Dunstan, a used wig seller

- The five powers involved in peace negotiations in Paris each stand on their tiny island in the sea. On the left George III says "I gave them independence." Next to him is a caricatured figure representing France, with the left arm cut off. "I must have Canada and Grenada for my Arm." Beside France a caricatured Dutchman bemoans the loss of his foot, and Spain in turn demands Gibraltar for his leg. On the far right America in the form of a female Indian announces "I have got all I wanted - Empire!." Above the scene Hibernia floats on a cloud saying "I deny all foreign jurisdictions..."

- A stork with the head of Shelburne is shown with its beak buried in the long neck of a glass jar labeled "The Treasury Jar". He smiles triumphantly as he picks up the gold guineas at the bottom; around his neck is the Garter ribbon. To his left is a fox with the bushy eyebrows, bulbous nose, and hairy chin of Charles Fox; he stands with his paws on the jar and a melancholy expression at the inaccessible treasure
