- Manuscript on paper in a single Italic hand of a treatise on the compatibility of the science of medicine with belief in Christianity and a vindication of Galen against four traditional attacks on him, including the "calumnies" that Galen favored reason over religion and that he scoffed at both Judaism and Christianity. Trippe frequently alludes to and quotes other medical and scientific authors in developing his argument, including Hippocrates, Dioscorides, Nicander, Avicenna, and his contemporaries Antonio Guainerio, Jean Fernel, Pietro Andreas Mattioli, and Leonhard Fuchs, as well as the humanist thinkers Henry Cornelius Agrippa, Guillaume Bude, and Ramus (Pierre de la Ramee). and Text prefaced (p. 5-7) by a dedicatory epistle to Robert Dudley, Earl of Leicester, who was Chancellor of Oxford and from whom Trippe was soliciting recommendation for appointment as Physician of Corpus Christi

On f. 1r a coat of arms in lower margin surrounded by a wreath with a ribbon. 3-, 2-, and 1-line initials in red or blue. Rubrics throughout., Water damage has obliterated several words in the lower left of f. 1r., and Binding: 17th-18th centuries. Brown/red calf, gold-tooled. Paste decorated edges. On spine, stamped in gold but nearly effaced: "Ciceronis et aliorum varia. MSS 1465".

- Manuscript, in multiple hands, of about 36 essays and verse translations on various subjects. The collection begins with an essay titled "Character & Design of the Author," which compares his collection of works to the Spectator, Tatler, and Guardian. In addition to subsequent essays which address such topics as "A Vision on human Life," "Against ignorant Pretenders to Politicks," and a letter "on the present state of the Theatre from Will. Drama," the manuscript also contains verse translations of classical works such as those of Silius Italicus and Theocritus.

- Manuscript on paper, in several different hands, of a collection of about 69 poems and prose entries, primarily on philosophical, religious, and metaphysical subjects. Prose pieces in the volume include a copy of Ethica Compendium, by Johann Stier; and The Life of Richard Marsh D. D. Archdeacon of York Vicar of Halifax, and Chaplain to King Charles 2nd From a Manuscript Written By His Descendant. Verses include numerous poems by John Donne; Song To A Coy Lady by Alexander Brome; and other poems by Cowley, Thomas Otway, and Richard Fanshaw. Pasted in on p. 263 is a contemporary MS copy of a poem, "Rise oh my sone wth thy desires to heaven," which the writer attributes to Sir Henry Wotton. The manuscript also includes a list of Middle English words titled "A few words from Urry's Chaucer that seem to have furnished several English families with surnames."
