Harewood U.S.A. General Hospital,, Hospital Number. 20,844., John Hagle, Private, Co. F., 5th N.Y.H.A., aged 29, was admitted to Harewood U.S.A. Gen'l Hospital, April 16th, 1865, suffering from gun shot wound of right shoulder posterior aspect, the ball injuring soft parts. Wounded, April 7th, 1865, at the battle of Farmersville, Va. On admission, the condition of injured parts and constitutional state of patient were good. Result favorable. Patient was doing well when discharged from the U. S. service, June 2d, 1865., John Hagle., R. B. BONTECOU,, and Surgeon U.S. Vols., In charge.

Harewood U.S.A. General Hospital., Hospital Number 15,877., John Harvey, Private, Co. F, 29th Mass. Vols., aged 19, was admitted to Harewood U.S.A. Gen'l Hospital, June 21st, 1864, suffering from gun shot wound of left forearm, the ball entering at upper third and passing upwards, grooving the head of humerus and fracturing left cavicle. Wounded, June 17th, 1864, at the battle of Petersburgh, Va. Resection of head of humerus, and of about three inches of left clavicle which was fractured, denuded and protruding. The ball was extracted from under fractured cavicle on the 28th of June. Operation performed by Surg. R. B. Bontecou, U.S. Vols., July 17th, 1864. The condition of parts at time of operation was tolerably good, but patient was weak from excessive suppuration. The wound had healed and patient was doing well when discharged from the hospital, Feb. 18th, 1865., John Harvey., R. B. BONTECOU,, and Surgeon U.S. Vols., In Charge.

Harewood U.S.A. General Hospital, Hospital Number, 18,450., John Miller, Private, Co. K, 118th Pa. Vols., aged 32, was admitted to Harewood Gen. Hospital Oct. 7th, 1864, with amputated left thigh, lower third. The wound was received Sept. 3Oth, 1864, near Petersburg, Va.; nature of missile not positively known, but supposed to have been the conoidal ball. The patient states that the ball passed through the knee-joint. On the 29th of March, 1865, a sequestrum measuring about six inches, was drawn from the end of the stump. Harewood U.S.A. General Hospital,, Hospital Number 20,713., John White, Private Co. A., 4th N.Y. Vols., age 19, was admitted to Harewood U.S.A. General Hospital, April 12th, 1865, with gunshot wound of the upper third of the left thigh. The ball entered posteriorly, passed upwards and inwards impinging against the femur, denuding a small portion of it of its periosteum, and lodged beneath the vastus externus muscle. The wound was received at Fort Fisher April 2nd, 1865, and was caused by the conoidal ball. The ball was extracted by Surg, R. B. Bontecou, April 17th 1865; the patient being under the influence of chloroform. The condition of the injured parts and the constitutional state of the patient at the time of the operation were poor. Pyaemic symptoms were developed April 19th, and the patient gradually sank, dying, April 27, 1865., John White., R. B. BONTECOU,, and Surgeon U.S. Vols., In Charge.

Harewood U.S.A. General Hospital., Hospital Number 19,989., Joseph Briggs, Priv. Co. I., 8th Pa. Cav., Aged 41, admitted to Harewood General Hospital, March 23rd, 1865, with accidental gunshot wound of the left hand. The ball entered about the middle of the palmar surface, and emerged at the dorsal, fracturing the third metacarpal bone. The wound was received near Petersburg, Va., March 15th 1865, and was caused by the conoidal ball. The use of the middle finger is much impaired, in consequence of the necessary removal of loose spicula of bone, and gangrenous sloughing of tendon of flexor muscle. The patient had erysipelas in the left arm a short time, but it yielded promptly to treatment. The wound has entirely healed., Joseph Briggs., R. B. BONTECOU,, and Surgeon U.S. Vols., In charge.

Vols, age 18, admitted to Harewood U.S. General Hospital, April 19th 1865, from City Point, with shell wound of posterior, aspect of middle third of left thigh, received at Southside Rail Road Va., April 1st 1865. The treatment has been supporting with simple dressings to the wound. The progress has been favorable throughout. May 26, the patient is still in Hospital and doing well., R. B.
