A view of Dilston Hall with its grounds, gardens, and river in foreground. On the far end of the bridge over the river on the right sits a woman with her back to the viewer; a man with a cane walks past her. Other figures in the foreground include a fisherman with a dog addressing a man with a raised cane and a dog at his heels; a woman with a hat appears to have a kerchief to her eye as she views the two men. In the right foreground a woman sits on the grass with child standing in front of her. In the left foreground another two men with walking sticks converse, one has a dog.
