George M. Francisco, Serg't, Co. K, 111 N.Y. Vols., aged 18, was admitted to Harewood U.S.A. Gen'l Hospital April 5th, 1865, with gunshot wound left shoulder and back, the ball entering posterior to acromion process, and passing out at outer angle of scapula. Wounded April 2d, 1865, at battle of South-side Railroad, Va. Progressed favorably. Transferred to U.S.A. Gen'l Hospital, Rochester, N.Y., May 15th, 1865. Doing well. and George M. Francisco.

Harewood U.S.A. General Hospital,, Hospital Number. 20,429., J. L. Smith Sergeant Company H, 125 N.Y. Vols., was admitted to Harewood U.S.A. General Hospital April 6th, 1865, with gunshot wound left shoulder, the ball entered one inch below clavicle, and passed out through superior fossa of scapula. Wounded March 31st, 1865, at the Battle of Hatcher's Run, Va. On admission the parts were in good condition, and constitution good. Treatment: light nourishing and supporting diet, and simple dressings. Transferred to U.S. Gen. Hospital, Troy, N.Y., doing well and parts nearly healed., J. L. Smith., R. B. BONTECOU,, and Surgeon U.S. Vols., In charge.

Gen'l Hospital, April 16th, 1865, suffering from gun shot wound of right shoulder, the ball entering near the middle of scapula, making its exit over the middle of left scapula, injuring soft parts. Wounded, April 6th, 1865, at the battle of Sailors' Creek, Va. On admission the condition of injured parts and constitutional state of patient were good. Patient was doing well when transferred to U.S.A. Gen'l Hospital, Philadelphia, Pa., May 28th, 1865., Jacob F. Simmons., R. B. BONTECOU,, and Surgeon U.S. Vols., In charge.

Harewood U.S.A. General Hospital,, Hospital Number 20,215., Jarvis H. Kelly, Private, Co. H, 185 N.Y. Vols., aged 26, was admitted to the Harewood Gen. Hospital April 2d, 1865, with gun shot wound of back, near right shoulder. The ball passed upwards and came out near clavicle of same side. In its passage it fractured the acromion process. Wounded March 29th, 1865, at battle of Hatcher's Run, Va. On admission constitution was good, and wound in good condition. Treatment.—Several spiculæ of bone were removed, and simple dressings used. Harewood U.S.A. General Hospital,, Hospital Number, 20,224., R. B. BONTECOU,, Richard Ives, Private, Co. B, 189th N.Y. Vols., aged 33, was admitted to Harewood U.S.A. Gen'l Hospital, April 2nd, 1865, suffering from gun shot wound, the ball entering over middle of superior edge of scapula; extracted near the middle of left scapula; left scapula fractured and right injured. Wounded, March 29th, 1865, at the battle of Hatcher's Run, Va. On admission, the condition of injured parts and constitutional state of patient were tolerably good, did tolerably well up to April 20th, 1865, from that date the parts became gangrenous, gangrene extending the whole length of wound. The patient steadily sank, and died, May 16th, 1865, from exhaustion., Richard Ives., and Surgeon U.S. Vols., In Charge.
