Abstract: A street scene in front of a fashionable confectionary shop: A woman and her equally well-dresesed friend reach for her hat after it is knocked off by an umbrella carried by fashionably dressed gentleman. A young boy taking advantage of the distraction steals her watch. From behind the counter loaded with sweets, the shopkeeper looks on the scene with an amused expression
