Charles Cunard, Corp'l Co. A, 7th N.Y. Vols., aged 23, was admitted to Harewood U.S.A. Gen'l Hospital, April 19th, 1865, suffering from gun shot wound of left leg, middle third, injuring soft parts. Wounded April 7th, 1865, at the battle of Batchelor's Home, Va. On admission, the condition of injured parts and constitutional state of patient were good. Charles Last, bugler, 25th Ill., aged 35, admitted to Harewood U.S.A. Gen'l Hospital, from Hampton Hospital, Sept. 13, 1865, convalescent from gunshot fracture of right thigh, upper third, ball entering from outerside. Wounded by guard at Washington, D.C.—conical ball—at short range June 7, 1865. On admission to this hospital, the fractured part was united and patient able to be about on crutches. Constitutional state of patient, at time of injury, good; treatment, splint and counter extension; result, favorably. The patient is doing very well, and in a fair way of having a good limb., CHARLES LAST., and Gunshot fracture of thigh.

Christain Wagner., Christain Wagner. Corpl. Co., G. 9th N.Y. Cav. age 20 was admitted to Harewood U.S.A. Gen'l. Hospital, April, 5th, 1865, with an amputation of the thigh performed in consequence of gun shot wound received at Petersburg, Va, March 31st. When admitted the patient was doing well and continued to do well until the night of April, 14th when symptoms indicating the approach of tetanus made their appearance these symptoms disappeared under the application of sulphte of morph to the wound and its administration by the mouth. Fredrick Hohmann, Private, Company H, 1st Michigan Cavalry, age 27, wounded at Petersburg April 2nd 1865, was admitted to Harewood U.S.A. General Hospital, from City Point Va., April 5th 1865, with gunshot wound of thigh immediately above the knee joint, the ball entering on the upper surface of internal condyle of right knee, passing half an inch above the knee and parallel with it, to external condyle. When admitted, the patient was in good condition, with the exception of the parts in vicinity of the wound being very much swollen and inflamed, the joint not being implicated, the limb was kept perfectly dry and quiet. April 27, 1865, the wound is almost entirely healed, with no implication of joint, and constitutional condition of patient good., FREDRICK HOHMANN., Harewood U.S.A. George Rouse, private, Co. G, 7th N.Y. Vols., aged 27, admitted to Harewood U.S.A. Gen'l Hospital, September 12, 1865, suffering from great deformity of right limb the result of gunshot wound, right thigh, upper third, through trochanter major, severely fracturing femur. Wounded at the battle of Southside Railroad, Va., April 1, 1865. On admission to this Hospital, the patient had so far recovered as to be able to sit up, and constitutional state was tolerably good. The fractured parts had firmly united, but with great deformity; wound of entrance also healed; but there are still some discharges from sinures in thigh, and small fragments of necrosed bones are daily removed. Prospects as to usefulness of limb unfavorable; patient otherwise doing tolerably well., GEORGE ROUSE., and Gunshot fracture of thigh at the trochanter.

George W. Northard, Sergt. Co. G., 2d Ohio Cav., age 23, wounded, April 1, 1865, at the battle of Petersburg. Admitted to Harewood U.S. General Hospital, April 1, 1865, with gunshot wound of right knee. The ball entered just above the patella through which it passed, fracturing it into six fragments—passed downward and outward, fracturing external condyle of femur, and escaped. On the 8th of April he was etherized, and Surg. R. B. Bontecou, U.S.V., removed the fractured patella and a fragment of the external condyle. The constitutional state of the patient at the time of the operation was very good. After the operation the limb was placed in a box containing bran, and the patient put on low diet. Subsequently the limb was placed upon a light open splint, extending from the tuberosity of the ischium to a point near the heel, and suspended by a cord; and the patient put a nutritious diet with wine and porter. On the 13th of April he was transferred to a tent ward. Up to this time he suffered considerable pain in the joint, and was very restless and irritable. His appetite become poor, hic-cough and vomiting set in. Suppuration was profuse and the patient died April 22d, from exhaustion., George W. Northard., Harewood U.S.A. Henry Krowlow, Private, Co. A, 66th N.Y. Vols., aged 18, was admitted to Harewood U.S.A. Gen'l Hospital, April 5th, 1865, suffering from gun shot wound of right leg, the extent of injury unknown. Wounded, March 31st, 1865, at the battle of Petersburgh, Va. Amputation at right knee joint, antero-posterior flaps, on the field, April 1st, 1865, operator unknown. The condition of injured parts and constitutional state of patient at time of operation unknown, but on admission to this hospital they were tolerably good. Patient did very well for awhile, the stump improving, but suffering from erysipelas of the face. The stump soon afterwards became gangrenous, the disease destroying the soft parts.
